We should all talk about 2020. Although it might have been a bad year for some businesses, I enjoyed it. It was the year that made us all stand still for a while. It gave me a chance to reflect on what I need and most importantly what I don’t need in my life. To not just go with the flow and take the easy route or to live on autopilot.
It was a year where you counted your blessings: your health, your family, the home you’ve made, the safety and security you enjoyed daily – the things that mattered the most. It was a year where perhaps you suffered by not being able to see the people you love so instantaneously. It was the year when you couldn’t jump on a plane and change your surroundings and escape from work. Yet you appreciated the times you could just Facetime or have a quick chat with friends and family. You appreciated the little things – having more time to experiment in the kitchen or have time for a walk.
So have you taken anything that you’ve learnt from 2020 and made it your focus for 2021? What do you think will make you feel happier in 2021?
Ours as a blog is to be more present and productive – to be here to add value with information that’s valuable to you.
