Weekend exploring just got better: Legtaifiya Metro station on the Red Line is now open. This station is located between Katara and Qatar University.
Legtaifiya Metro Station is a new stop that helps you to reach the Pearl, Lagoona Mall and Grand Hyatt Hotel. It also connects you to cycle/walking path that takes you past Katara and on to West Bay – which could help you change up your exercise routine.
Lagoona Mall is also within easy reach for luxury shopping, 51East offers premium brands as well as local Qatari designers. You can meet friends for coffee – there are quite a few options here including Paul, Cafe Vergnano, Tim Hortons, Fauchon, and Cafe di Roma. There’s also a small Carrefour, McDonalds, Haagen Dazs, so you can pick up some groceries and keep the kids happy.
